Who are Vital Approved Training?

We are a sister company of Vital Food Hygiene Solutions who are a well-respected food safety consultancy specializing in working with many businesses to secure compliance, protect the business, and to help achieve a 5 FHRS rating.

The consultancy was set up by a Chartered Environmental Health Officer (EHO) who worked for one of the largest Local authorities in the North of England for 15 years. The consultants who work for Vital FHS are experienced and many have and still work for local authorities. Through the feedback from the consultants, on first visits, and from LA inspections, there is a lack of training and many businesses for a variety of reasons find it hard to access or decide on appropriate, affordable, and up to date training. Customers were struggling to find a trustworthy source and something that met their needs.

Why e-learning?

Obviously, there is no substitute for face-to-face classroom training (we also can provide this in many formats) but the businesses we were visiting kept asking for alternatives. Especially businesses that have limited time and resource to release staff for full days or more. It was apparent there was a need for the customers we already work with. So, we listened to our client and decided to set up our own online training site back in 2019. Throughout thorough research we discovered many providers and to be honest we quickly decided to partner with the well-established and well-known Highfields. We have come across their certificates over many years and know they are in the exact marketplace we work in. Highfields was founded by and EX EHO Richard Sprenger and we knew we would have the same aims and values as them. So, from this, VITAL APPROVED TRAINING WAS FORMED.
